July 9th, 2026 – Across the pond, the 2026 FIFA World Cup rages on. England holds lofty hopes of finally bringing home the trophy that has eluded us for 60 years (incidentally, if you’re somehow reading this from the past: alas, third place – but a cheeky flutter on Spain might help to numb that particular agony a bit).
Meanwhile, in Shoreditch, another competition is brewing. Some may argue that an even greater prize awaits its competitors. A monumental glory surpassing even that of the World Cup itself…

It’s time for our Kite Champions Cup Round-Up!
The heat was already on when Team Kite arrived in Shoreditch (that’s kind of a figure of speech, but also not – at one point the trains started sweating). As we made our cunning preparations in the background, our teams commenced their warm-up for perhaps the most climactic football clash of the summer.

Meanwhile, our regular Kite Channel Lounge host, Stu, reported live on the scene, getting in some insights and predictions from some very special guest pundits!
And of course, Team Kite couldn’t help but jump into the action, not just lending their aid on the pitch, but also getting in a few sneaky rounds of padel.
We weren’t the only ones showing off our agility on the court, however…
Suffice it to say, we were privileged to bear witness to some truly thrilling displays over the course of the tournament.
