Q1) Where do you see the future of cybersecurity?
With the rapid increase of IOT connected devices and ongoing issues around BYOD policies, cyber security has never been more essential than it is today. Security around IOT connectivity will be an ever-growing concern for organisations. So not only will prevention be a necessity, but demand will grow for solutions based on detection and investigation to ensure the bad guys are kept well away from the critical assets. As businesses become more agile and adopt new technologies or build hybrid infrastructures, cybersecurity needs to adapt and enable organisations to fully leverage the benefits of the changes. The future of cybersecurity involves the ability to secure workloads regardless of their location (on-premise or in the cloud), operating system or type of virtualization technology used, while ensuring maximum performance, effectiveness in detecting new and unknown threats, and complete visibility across the organisation’s entire infrastructure.
